About this curriculum

Qìgōng means Energy-Skill. Qì is the energy within the human body as well as the energy within all things. The goal of this curriculum is to provide students with a strong foundation in the exercises and theory of Qìgōng, along with knowledge and skills in both Nèigōng (Internal) Qìgōng and Wàigōng (External) Qìgōng. Within each section, the student will be assessed on the depth of their ability to regulate their body, breathing, mind, Qì and Shén (spirit).

Each level of the curriculum is progressively more demanding, beginning with basic physical and energetic skills and moving toward more advanced muscle, meridian and organ manipulation, along with mindful control of internal energy movement. Emphasis is proportional to the student’s level, so body, breathing and mind are emphasized in the early levels; and mind, Qì and Shén (spirit) are emphasized in the later levels. Each of the categories gets deeper, with higher expectations of understanding and skill in both personal execution and teaching.

As the quantity of movements and skills increase, so will our emphasis on the quality of movement and the student’s ability to regulate and integrate the concepts across both mind and body.

Note: The Qigong Certification Program is expected to go live in 2027
