This year’s instructors include Ethan Deblois (YMAA Québec), Jeff Pratt (YMAA Boston), Jeff Rosen (YMAA Western Mass), Michelle Lin (YMAA Wu An), Paul McIntyre (YMAA Orange County), and Phil Dunwoody (YMAA Huntingdon Tai Chi). Each training topic will be offered at multiple levels, allowing students of all experience levels to train together.
INSTRUCTOR SESSIONS – Thursday, August 20 at 10:00 AM
We’ll be holding an instructors’ session near the campsite at YMAA Western Mass (140 Pine St, Florence, MA) before camp begins. This session is open to anyone who teaches the YMAA curriculum and holds at least a 1st Stripe in either Shaolin or Taijiquan. We encourage all eligible instructors to attend.
OFF-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS
For those who prefer more traditional accommodations, you’re welcome to stay at a nearby hotel or Airbnb and commute to camp each day. If you’re interested in sharing accommodations and carpooling with other campers, please let us know. We’re inquiring about group rates at Hotel UMass.
Feel free to invite your students, training partners, and friends—YMAA membership is not required.
We look forward to seeing many familiar faces—and welcoming some new ones—to another memorable weekend of training, campfires, and friendship. We hope to see you there!
